Oh man, I’ve been on an egg kick. In fact, it’s quite frequently why I suggest going to brunch. And mimosas, yes. Those as well.

I never keep eggs in my kitchen, which means I’m usually ready for something scrambled, fried or poached during a breakfast out.
Lately I’ve been going nutso over eggs benedict (yeah yeah, insert Anthony Bourdain quote about hollandaise sauce now… whatever). It is one of my favorite breakfasts and one that no one (except at a restaurant) has ever made for me. The ultimate breakfast eat-out meal. Mmmmm…..
Here are a few helpful spots to get your egg fix on at home, maybe it’s time for me to go pick up a dozen from the farmer’s market.
- 101 Cookbooks favorite egg recipes
- Enjoy some soft scrambled eggs with ricotta and chives
- How perfect, breakfast tagine with couscous
- Gypsy style baked eggs

Yum! I might try a different twist on eggs with your tasty options. Thanks for reminder to pick up eggs @ farmers' market.

basil pesto & egg panino from 'inoteca in Manhattan. many, MANY attempts to try & recreate. no luck. if you ever figure it out, please invite me over.
They are SO SO good, aren't they?!?
I LOVE 'inoteca!!! Never had a panini from there, but did have these ridiculous truffled eggs there last year. Looks so delicious – new brunch challenge, maybe I can help make this dream come true for you :)
